My work on water colour, as the paint brush explores the hidden treasures behind the theories of colour...

A few of my works, those accomplished with a touch of haste... A mere expression of spontaneity...

Landsdowne... A spectacular vacation

The wee hours of dawn in the serene mountains of Landsdowne...  A quiet little hill-station, maintained by the army, in the Garhwal district of Uttarakhand.
As the first light of the sun moves to unveil the mountains from under a blanket of shadow, the mind longs to capture this moment of perfect harmony as a memory everlasting...
...Another breath-taking view, as the rising sun fires up the sky into a brilliant glow of light and colour...
...As the longing eyes descry the far terraced slopes of the mountains, set against a beautiful juniper forest, under the morning sun, the vision of a chinese painting flashes into the mind, striking the onlooker with awe...
I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree...
And as we wind on down the road, the forested slopes of the mountains bid us a fond journey, and leave on our minds the majestic memory of their green serenity...
As the rays of the sun scatter through the brancher and brambles of this naked tree, the brilliance of the seven colours splashes onto the lens of the camera...
